Our facilities in Bochum and Duisburg for processing are:

hydraulic presses, hot and cold:

  Roller levelling machines:

  Stone grinding
(material removing of approx. 3 mm in one working step):
thickness: 20 mm - 600 mm

  Strip grinding machines
(material removing of approx. 0,3 mm in one working step):
thickness: 10 mm - 400 mm

  Friction sawing:

With highly efficient machinery and equipment at the locations of Bochum and Duisburg plates and slabs of different sizes and weights are processed, cut, levelled and ground (stone grinding / finishing grinding (strip grinding)).

Furthermore structures, sections, beams, tubes and shafts are processed. BEB has special competence in precision straightening, even of heavily corrugated plates. On three roller straightening machines and eight different hydraulic presses steel with a thickness of up to 700 mm can be straightened according to the customer's requirements.

For the machining of surface stone grinding is one of the innovative technologies of BEB in order to remove e.g. rolled-in scale or surface defects (rough grinding). On the flexible belt sanders of BEB a reduction of thickness in the area of 1/10 mm can be achieved (finishing grinding). The special feature of this procedure is the thickness reduction parallel to the surface. Plates with a thickness of up to 700 mm can be ground on five different grinding machines. With the cut-off grinding procedure workpieces with a thickness of up to 400 mm are processed by BEB.
